Good episode, we get a more mature Sinbad with more of his adventures. From this story point of view, he is becoming a leader.

Not much action but I'm fine with it. The episode helps expands more on the world developments and its rich history in respect with the myths from the past.

As expected, he challenged the king, also to prove that the power is not for chosen one in the country. Transformation with the power. Then to battle elsewhere. He keeps showing his strong power, even destroying the mountain. He then explains his goal.

The king agreed with Sinbad's trade. Father's real feeling... same as his son, so he allowed him to go with Sinbad as a mission. And his feeling to his brother is like that tall guy from previous dungeon.

Legend about previous king who aimed the same as Sinbad.

lol @ nose bleeding about going to legendary place (that lady with wing's place?)

It seems like Ep. 11 will be aired on Thursday 26:58 next week for TBS.

Edit (June 23, 2016): Also, I'm a bit late because the news has posted a while ago, but both eps 12 and 13 (1 hour broadcast) will be aired on July 1 after midnight (July 2 am), so end airing date will not be July 8 after midnight (July 9 am).

Was the original founder of Sasan Solomon or something? Looks and sounds like it..

Good episode, was nice seeing Sinbad enter Djinn form. Pretty domineering when he was threatening the Kishi Ou :P

Sinbad's Djinn Equip looked really good. Kinda dissapointing that the battles here looks better animated that some of the ones of the main series. Anyway, Sinbad finally obtains his trade agreement with Sasan and Mystras joins the adventure.

Interesting that thing about Sasan's God. Looks like that was refering to Solomon.

Btw, I have a feeling that Mystras will die in the journey. The fact that he didn't appeared in the main series when both his brother and father did (with his brother even occupying a place in Sinbad's generals) makes me believe that... but he can also be in another place or something, of course.

Next episode is Pisti's turn to join the group.

I just love how this is at the same level as the original serie, its been really fun to watch how Sinbad got OP and all the generals in their young years, but since there will be only 3 more episodes, I dont think it will show all the 8, hope we get a new OVA soon for this.

Dat Mountain destruction was epic as all hell

And the OST during this ep is 10/10 loving it

I wonder if Mystora will meet his brother again since he's not in the main series. Do they at least meet then he dies (or whatever happened to him) or they never meet after this which would be damn sad :(

sinbad is so powerful damn, at such a young age. His first djinn equip in the series and was able to defeat that leader.

another enjoyable and great AND intense character. i didn't expect that Sinbad would used his djiin equip in this episode of all episode lol xD heck, i didn't even know he already can use it. that scene was something like a suprise scene to me. i really got suprised and excited when i saw that scene. especially when he destroyed almost literally al of the tip of the mountain and made a hole of a certain mountain with his djiin equip. that was really badass imo. really enjoy it episode so much and i'm very looking foward for the next episode cause finally i can see more girls in this anime

but tbh, next episode really looks interesting. too bad the epsiode is still raw :c
either way, i can't wait to watch it xD

Honestly, I think I enjoy Sinbad as a character more in the main series, where his character feels more layered and is more engaging. This anime is supposed to document his rise to kinghood, the path he took to becoming such a great man in the future, and yet the potential power of that journey is undercut by Sinbad's relentless perfection. What's the point of showing us this story if Sinbad was already so great from such a young age? He is more powerful than anyone, he woos all the women he meets, and everyone who knows him is dumbstruck by his sheer awesomeness. Having a Gary Stu as your protagonist can work (as it does in Food Wars), but doing so while still keeping the story interesting is a tricky act to pull off, and I don't think this series quite nails it. Sinbad faces no real challenges, he just sails smoothly through anything life throws at him and achieves his objectives with embarrassing ease. Sure, we're watching how he gained his allies and established his country, but it's done in basically the dullest way imaginable. Let us see Sinbad struggle a little, let us see more sides to his character than just silly comedy or amazing perfection. The combination of bland protagonist and tensionless narratives creates a story that is utterly engaging and honestly a bit of a slog to get through. Virtually everyone besides Sinbad is better characterized and subsequently more interesting than him.

And on that note, this episode featured a trope common in shounen that I detest: the main character resolving the central conflict of another character's life because...well, because he's the main character. It's admittedly more fitting here since Sinbad needed to show these people that the power of Djinn was not as sacred as they thought, but it's still frustrating to watch yet another character be denied the chance to resolve his own story, his own conflict, with his own hands, instead having OP protagonist do it for him. It denies the character a chance to be the drivers of his or her own story while denying the viewer the cathartic experience that would come from watching the character who struggled so much actually resolve that struggle his/herself. And this episode took Sinbad's perfect perfection to literally the level of godly, so that didn't help.

Meh. I'll keep watching, if only because I still like future Sinbad and also because all the other characters besides him are fun to watch. But this really could have been so much better.

That was a NICE episode!
Mystras is so HPYED-up to explore the outside world that he had nosebleed!
DAMN EPIC SINBAD showing again the hyper-ultra powerful Bararaq Saiqa that he used on Magi: kingdom of Magic with exception of kyokudai maho (extreme magic). That power is I think half the power of Saitama's Serious Punch. (of course Saitama's serious punch is way more superior in terms of raw power by a very huge gap!)
5/5.

Sinbad OPness shines as always. He's one of the few OP anime characters I actually like.

The father/son convo was nice--

Spartos's voice is so deep, it makes me laugh.

Very nice episode

Great episode, The fight was cool though quite short.

Sinbad transformation was just badass.
Sinbad destroying the mountain was just damn epic, He made it quite clear what the power difference was.

The world building in this series is way better than the original IMO, Seeing all these new kingdoms is just amazing and gets me all excited.

As for this, sometime later in the series (the anime will not cover it) Sinbad will go through a very rough period.

sinbad methods are great. loved how he convinced darius.

as for mystras though, i have hard time to sympathise with him. so far he was always "i want to see the outside!" like. didn't found him that likeable.
maybe it's because he isn't character in the main story that the author didn't cared about him? lol

that ending xD

It was a good showcase of power from Sinbad to show the levels of differences that even Conquerors can have, although I did wish the anime showed how he actually came to learn the Djinn Equip properly. Spartos' voice in that farewell scene was definitely like parody there. It should've been a touching scene but the voice killed any sort of melancholic emotions there and made it weirdly hilarious to watch. Not a shabby episode overall but seriously, the show needed better casting with a few roles.
